1. What’s your hobby?

7. My hobby is collecting stamps.
8. MY interst is learning Enlish.
Way of expressing likes
1.A: I like collecting stamps
B: Do you ? I don’t.
2. A: I love music, especially folk music.
B: Do you ? So do I .
3. She enjoys playing the guitar.
4. He feels like mountain-climbing.
5. He goes for modern music.
6. Some people adore action-packed movies. (充满暴力的)
7． She has a taste fro fashionable clothes.
8. We are interested in singing karaok.
9. A: I’n fond of playing basketball.
B: Are you ? I’m not.
9. They’re keen on photography.
10. Some young people are crazy about jazz music.
11. She’s very enthusiastic about Beijing Opera.

Ways of expressing dislikes.

2. I don’t feel like paying mahjong.

B: Do you ? I don’t
5. I hate cooking.
6. I loathe smoking and drinking.
7. I detest doing the washing-up after a meal.
Ways of expressing preferences.
1. I perfer Chinese films to forein films.
2. I prefer watching TV to going to the cinima.
3. I have a preference for traditional Chinese music.
4. Of all the sports, I like football the most
5. Football is my favourite sport.
6. A: What’s your favourite film?
B: True lies (真实的谎言) is my favourite.
A: My favourite film is The Bridge of Madison County (廊桥遗梦)
7． A: Who’s your favourite movie star?
B: Gong Li is (my favourite).
c. Ruby is my least favourite sport.
Practice.
Work in pairs , taking turns to ask each other questions about likes , dislikes and preferences . Try to use as many different expressions as possible.

After reading your BBS about the English salon, I am very interested in it .  That 's a very good chance for English Lover to practise their oral English. What about the salon there? How many people are there in each salon? Are their any foreign guys there? Oh, by the way , we both are from Hunan , u are from Shimen ,and i am from lixian. Want to make friend with u. Maybe ,we will ,hehe ,we are all English lovers.

 HI,
Welcome to join us, I always go to the english training center to practise my oral english. I keep the hobby for half a year, I feel ,my oral english is much better than before.
Thank you for shirley and some foreigner to help me to correct my pronunciation.Meanwhile, I made a lot of friends in there.
So, I think , if you want to improve your english and want to make more friends, to come to there is your best choice!
At last, tell you a secret, hehe, the Salon is charge of free!
