motivating yourself
Learning a foreign language can be difficult at times and there are many obstacles you must overcome. It is important to keep a positive attitude and to try to enjoy the language learning process. here are a few things you can do:
* Give yourself a treat when you have completed to task.
*Remind yourself that you have already learnt a lot. Keep a learning diary in which you write down your progress, your feelings and ideas.
*Don't give up ! It takes time to learn a language, so don't be frustrated if you feel that you are not learning quickly enough. |

so don't image it as a very easy thing, when you see many Americans are speaking English very easily.
Learning English is as difficult as playing piano... But if you take much time on it, it really becomes very easy.

我把这位朋友的经验翻译一下，以方便更多的朋友．
学英语？ 太多要说了．．．．．．
首先你得计算一下你有多少时间和精力来做这件事．
当一门语言被作为一门外语来学时，他是很不同于母语的．
所以，当你看到许多美国人很流利的说英语时，千万不要以为说英语是很容易的事．
学英语就象从头学钢琴那么难，但如果你舍得往里投时间，其实也很容易！

其实我觉得环境是个很重要的条件 当初来深圳听白话和客家话就和听天书一样
经过一年和客家人以及香港老板的相处下 白话和客家话基本能听懂了 只是由于本来过于懒惰才没学会怎么去讲

说的很对,我到现在还不会说白话,是因为我觉得好麻烦呀,还倒不是他有多难毕竟还是中国话嘛,所以想做好一件事首先得有决心,有恒心.
What you said is really true ,up till now i haven't mastered the cotanese yet , i guess the reason is that i think studing cantonese is so troublesome, but not it is so hard for you to master , so if you want to so sth well, you should have the determination and persistance. |
